What was that freeware picture editing software?
A few weeks back there was a freeware photo editor mentioned and I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone remember what it was?

Can't recall offhand..but some freeware here:

Personally I use older freeware versions of Micrographx Picture Publisher and Paint Shop Pro, both of which came free on magazine coverdisks..guess they must be out there somewhere to download...

Eh, I can only think of Paintshop Pro, but I don't think that's free, and GIMPpaint I think it's called? Some Gimp program. Need to install a bunch of crap before you can use it though.

You mean Irfanview?
It's more an ACDSee alternative than a real photo editor (i use Paintshop pro for that). Irfanview is great to do some quick basic things though (browsing, cropping, rotating, resizing, color and sharpness enhancement) and it can do mass processing of images.
