Krylon. Is it your friend or a bad idea?

I'm toying with the idea of using a krylon navy blue on my metal lizardmen and was wondering if anyone had tried it as a way to speed up the mini painting process instead of using a white or black Primer. I love doing detail work on mini's but the general area covering is a PITA for me.

I've used Krylon Primers, but I really haven't tried any of the colour paints. Might be worth a try.

Krylon is fine for a primer or a top coat, but never NEVER use it as your main color. It is way to thick, and if you use gloss you will never get any other paint to stick to it.
