I'm curious if anyone else receives "Freebie" mini's when they order or if I keep getting lucky with my orders. Got the last of my mummies for my khemri team <and now have 3 of the same Mummy but saved a few bucks> and a "Freebie" Dragonslayer Dorf Fantasy model.... Is this their attempt to make me want to buy a WHFB dwarf army now? <Rusty Gear Sound> Hmmm Dwarven Fantasy army... I haven't spent tons of money on mini's for a while

.

15.50 US isn't a big purchase of mini's though and I bought my team box for 40.00 instead of 45.00 locally so

And now that I think of it I think I've always gotten some little freebie either a GW <crap> brush or mini...

I haven't made a big order from mail order for ages (8-10 years), but I used to spend quite alot and got loads of freebies with most orders of £20.
No idea what thier policy is now

I placed a large order a month or 2 ago and got:
1 Warmaster Vampire Counts blister
1 Black Templars Shoulder pad
1 Sword arm from some sort of WFB mini
I placed a small order last month (which they messed up) and got a Beastman Shaman. When they sent me the missing item from the order, they sent me the same Beastman Shaman.
Seems kind of random, as one of my friends placed an order during this time frame and got nothing (well, except for the bits he actually ordered

)

well, keep the secret, but when I did my last order, they send me for free one Ripper (BB troll). the order was big: one WH rat ogre, an orc blitzer, a black orc blocker, the orc thrower, a vampire team, the new Griff and Varag, two undead mumies... and the troll (for free!)

Due to the outrageous prices, I try to use reliable dealers on Ebay. I just won an Orc boxed Team for $20
I have a couple of the free minis from GW--when I was forced to use them. If anybody wants them, I will send them to you for free (you must pay shipping and handling). I also have a couple Reaper minis and a few pewter Terminators from Warhammer 40K. All this is free. I was planning on getting into Warhammer 40K, but then I realized the $75.00 you pay for the boxed set is just the first wad of money you'll be blowing on that game. I'd rather play Blood Bowl. It's the best game GW makes--and I've been playing their games for 17 years.

The mail order trolls have been pretty good to me over the years. They've thrown in magazines and a few miniatures. Nothing too major, but an attempt at appeasment for other screw ups I think....

Khaine your mail box must be the dimensional gateway that sucks up all the minis that go missing in the other orders they get.

I've placed fairly large orders with the GWMO but I never ever get any extras...

Then again, I've never gotten a botched order so far either, except that one time when I ordered (among other things) the Imperial Armour book and found it (alot) cheaper at the local store the same afternoon. Bought the book there instead, mailed MO about canceling the book from my order and lo and behold, I had two overpriced books about tanks I'll never ever use in my IG army. :/
