The Fate of Third Edition Blood Bowl Miniatures...

Does anyone know if Games Workshop will quit producing the older generation miniatures once the newer teams and models start going up for sale? The reason I'm asking is because I like my teams to be uniform, not a wacky concoction of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th edition models. If I need to buy another Skaven Thrower or Orc Blitzer because their days are numbered, I wish I could find out now, before they become OoP and rare and EXPENSIVE.

Thanks Again.

I understad that GW only quite their mini productions when the moulds become too old.

perhaps the same happens with the BB moulds.

Talked about it with one of Italian Mail Order Trolls...
They keep producing miniatures for current edition only. BB is sort of an exception, since some "old" star players are currently under production.

Anyway, any mini that is not in the current edition is not produced anymore, so it is available until it goes out of stock (this usually happens after a long time, like two or more years, since I can find even now 5-years-old WHFB minis)
