I'm quite curious how many people out there bother with coaches and cheerleader miniatures. Back in the day I bought a Skaven pack leader (complete with whip and in a very coach-like pose, pointing his finger) to use as my coach... but I've never met anyone who owns any cheerleaders.

i own cheerleaders but they are kak now. assit coach not much better so never painted one since 1990. Ref worth the effort for a counter for his gaze, but one for life sounds plenty.
Made the effort for a head coach for a tourni but next time i need a painted cheerleader i expect i will using a stairmaster

Blood bowl, more than any other GW game I can think of, is about having a bit of fun... Painting refs, cheerleaders and support staff just add to the fun
And, if you go by the rules, you should have an "appropriately painted Citadel miniature" if you're going to use coaching staff in your games
I reckon if you're going to spend time painting a team, it's worth a little extra time to make some coaching staff for them. It was to me anyway...

I have at least a head coach and apothecary for all of my teams. I add cheerleaders and assistant coaches when its a team that I've played a while. For instance, I've been playing my Dark Elfs in a league for two years now. I've got the headcoach and apothecary, 5 assistant coaches (Retired players and DE star players I don't use) and 5 cheerleaders. Its fun and adds to my enjoyment of the game.

Yeah, I might take the time to prepare a wizard and apothecary mini, but not a cheerleader or assistant coaches. I'm just lazy! Plus they're rarely used in the game as Underdog mentioned.

Do you happend to play any other GW game or BB is exclusive?
(Just curious to know if you have as many armys as BB teams...)
