How did he make these?

Post by Chairface »

A friend and I were looking at the Human team on the Bloodbowl gallery.

http://www.specialist-games.com/bloodbowl/Gallery.asp

They are featured in the first 2 pics, painted in white and purple. My question is, what did he/she use to create these? We're quessing that the torsos are from Necron immortals and the legs from space marines? Anybody see anything different? Thanks!

Well I'd definitely say that it's SM legs, but the tops judging by the arms could easily be Goliath Gangers or Catchcan Imperial Guard thugs.

This team (The New World Vikings, coach Chris Lewis) was featured on the inside back cover of BB Mag 10, where it says;

legs from space marines
torsos from Necron Destroyers
arms from orc and catachan sprues
heads from plastic "beaky" space marines
faces from catachans

very interesting team, though I think he should have flattened the detail on their backs and given them all face guards.

I think the ones with face guards are the blitzers!

looking at pic 2.

8 and 11 (QB numbers in nfl) are throwers,
88 and 84 (reciever numbers in NFL) are catchers,
50, 52, 56 and 58 (linebacker numbers) are blitzers
the other numbers are linemen, their jersey numbers are usually used for offensive linemen, although defensive linemen wear them too!

I would have given some of my blitzers numbers between 20-49 for running backs.

It's a clever idea for numbering your players.
