Hey All
So where exactly do you paint the number of your player?
ESPECIALLY when there isnt a spot on the shouldpad.
Ive painted one on the ground in white like a yard marker, have a severed arm with a shoulder pad (like that one a bunch :D ) under the players legs.
Any other revelations out there?

Thanks
Orogen

Depends on the model of course, but if you cant find a spot just paint it on the edge of the base.

I have painted the number on the helmet before but if the model really dont have one, i make a place with other bits i have left over.

well all my figures have a numbre in the back of the base, and lots of figures have numbers on their shoulders pads or back too.

I write the number (and their names too) in little pieces of glue paper. then, just cut and stick it on the base.

Take a normal paper hole punch and punch a hole in the black plastic coil bindings of office reports / photocopied textbooks (if you're in unversity) This is nicely curved to fit the front of a Blood bowl base. Glue it there before you undercoat the mini, and apply transfer when you're done painting.

You can steal this but if you claim you invented it you can come get your ass whupped at the SPIKE! in Toronto in September.

P.S. I'd post pics but I'm lazy.

I put mine on the front and back of the base, generally. It works well.

I did this too for the BB Cup .. but the only numbers still left are the front ones, since the bag where i was carrying them has eated the back transfers ....

Before that, i had those old tape number transfer stick to the base, and worked really well ...

I paint the numbers in black on the base, front and back, but with a different colour background (red for blitzer, white for thrower, eg).

I usually just put them on the front of the base, but sometimes on the back as well. I usually just paint them on, although for my Norse squad I'm trying to do runes around the entire base which encircle the number in front.

I as well am painting up a Norse team, the throwers and catchers specifically are difficult to put numbers on (besides the base obviously).

Thanks for the ideas so far though!

I paint on any shoulder pads, and twice on the base, once in the front and once on the back. Also on the back if there is a spot.

I name them on the roster sheet but never try putting words on the mini. If u see my addition to the NBA team and its name, u will know why.
