Assorted new stuff

Post by Thadrin »

I just added a bunch of pics to my website: my Lizardmen, my 2nd ed. Dwarf team's markers, my Norse team, and a couple of figures in the miscellaneous section.

If you're interested. I think Boris came out pretty well.

Looking good Thadrin. The LM and the Norse look great, and you're right, the Boris is exceptionally well done. Such a great mini.... I'll be interested to see what it looks like when Andy redesigns him to look "Deathballish"

Good stuff there. I saw the Goblin is on there too. He looks good. I wonder if he could take Boris. :)

Oh by the way, I love the Amsterdam Ogre team. Between your team and Snots Netherlands inspired Ogre team, I was wondering if all Ogres are Dutch? :D

I think your Norse kicks the living shit out of the Lizards. They're your best yet. I'm fond of the small touches like the snowpatches on the bases and the stripes on the pants. The green and white scheme looks good on Norse (Heja Bajen!) and the skin also comes out well (although I personally like to exaggerate the shading more on my skin). The Linemen have a slightly bewildered look, their eyes could benefit from the aforementioned shading. But if I were you, I'd leave them as they are as (and I'm almost 100% sure you said this to me yourself) the madman look is almost patented by you in your BB minis. Nice work!

I'm having to completely redo one of the catchers.

I was a little over enthusisatic with the spray varnish and he ended up a bit grey. The varnish has left them a little flat colourwise unfortunately...but I thought I needed it to hold the Static grass on.

The eyes don't look quite so manic in real life...its the angle of the pic as much as anything else.

It may look white, but its grey.
(BAJEN?????? usch. I Allsvenskan så är det IFK som gäller för mig. De bästa lag i Sverige bara vit och blå.)
