Anybody have the paint colors to whip up a Rat Ogre? I've got mine primed and ready to go, I just don't know the colors.

Black skin with red scales...


(it will all make sense when I post some photographs of my team for the spiky this year)

I was thinking of just using the RO colors used in the star player pic. I've always liked that look.

I have the same problem right now with an unpainted rat ogre sitting on my desk.
The colors on the star player pic seem to be a good choice.

The last rat ogre i painted i simply started with a basecoat of bestial brown and highlighted it up with white, it eventually turns into a human flesh colour

quite like the idea of a black rat ogre maybe with white fur.
could look awesome.

Yeah that black Rat Ogre idea is starting to catch on. Especially since I do a black base coat on all my models to start with. I may just do that. Suggestions on highlights?

either a blue tint or a grey tint, keep it dark using darker blues or bring it bright with spacewolf grey.

If you want to go by the Skaven books, teh Stronger the Rat, the darker the fur, so I guess a balck/real dark brown would be good for the hairy spots... As far as the skin... I din't see why it can't be as pale or as dark as you want, or even blue or green... Warpstone does funny things to a body...

Thanks for the tips guys, I'm really thinking my RO is going to be black. It just seems meaner to me.
