I am going to try out an Ogre team once I get out of football season and noticed these last night. Can anyone give me any size info? I assume they are teh same size as the Minotaur I have from Heresy already, just wanted to verify if possible.
Thanks

SWEET!!!!! Now can you tell me

Are there only the 2 body styles or how does that work? I thought of ordering 2, but if the bodies are different enough and with the multiple heads, I could get more.
Thanks again.

Only two. They're nice, but I think it'd look odd to create a full Ogre team out of them, they'll all have more or less the same pose. IMHO, the helmeted heads look great but the rest doesn't.
I just ordered some Heresy minis for BB conversions:
Vampire - looks great, a lot better than the GW minis. I just converted those skulls under his foot into a football...
Crouching lurker - fantastic mini, but needs a 40 mm base. Thus, too big.
Hellbeast - same thing here. Could work as a Mino though.
Football Boris - nice guy, but I can't really find a team for him.
Ogres - a decent alternative to the GW ones

As he said, ive got two of them and 6 of the GW ones. I'm hoping that Andy might do a few more bodies as yeah a full team of the heresy ones just would look a little odd, even with the different heads and hands.
Although i've used o few of the heresy heads on the GW Bod's as well. ( involved some green stuff on the neck but there ok, just waiting to be painted along with about 200 other models

Typical! This morning I deleted the pics I had of my GW Ogre with the Heresy head...
As for the Troll and the lurkers, have a look:

The ogres look great, better than the GW ones IMO. As far as the FF Boris, use him on a Norse team (that's what I did)

That's a nice team! But having all the positional players on 40mm bases must be a bit impractical?!

Not really, now often do you really have 4 Gutter Runners in base-to-base contact? As a team the two 'big base' guys that are usually closest are the Troll (Rat-Ogre) and the Hellhound (Storm Vermin). Never really a problem...
As for the Gutter Runners, there are normally two deep in my oppositions half, one deep in my own half and one near the half way line (well thats what I plan anyway

).

Well, the TORSOS of the ogres are the same, but there are two different sets of legs that place it at very different angles, then three different sets of arms from amongst which to mix and match, then all the different hands for said arms. I don't think they look too much alike at all.

I just got four this week and I think thats a perfect # to get unique poses. And I like all of the heads, with the exception of the one with the eye patch and the ponytail.

I'm going to order myself an Ogre - I want some Lurkers to be Trolls on my Chaos Halfling team (The hideous cave troll is simply too huge for BB). Not sure what I'll use him for though...
Hell, I'll probably get two Ogres.
Boris is my Norse team's combo Mino-Ogre. He fits as either.

Been a lurker for a bit here, but I really wanted to give my thoughts and opinions on Heresy's ogres(sorry for the wordy post). I bought and painted the GW ogre team for my league and I was happy with it...until I saw Andy's work. I think their poses and various positioning available are a much better look for an aggressive and combative beast like an ogre BB player. The GW BB ogres are fine, but compared to Heresy's version, they are just too static looking for me. These new ogres actually look like they are attacking an opponent rather than standing there thinking about it. I bought eight of Heresy's ogres, and I think there are plenty of arms, heads, and legs included in that amount to make them look different from each other. The different heads look left and right. The legs are positioned so that they are running or moving forward and you have a choice of either the right foot forward or the left foot forward if you buy more than one ogre. There are two different sets of arms to mix together, again if you buy more than one ogre. You get six different fists with each ogre you buy. I had a lot of fun just sitting down and deciding which body parts to put together. I thought that these ogres were the best I have seen thus far. And the 20% off and free shipping deal that was offered at the time I bought them and a bunch of other figs from Heresy saved me a lot of money. I encourage anyone that is thinking about buying ogres or anything else from Andy and his guys to do so without hesitation. I don't think you will be disappointed with the quality they put out.

I was actually looking at the line coach from heresy... not only do i think he'd make a decent ref with a bit or work, but are those METAL footballs I see with him in his picture?
if/when i get around to making an ogre team I will definitely be getting those from heresy too, the pictures look fantastic

But I Ogres tend to stand around thinking about what they are supose to be doing more then actually doing it.
