Here are the Necro Phil-iacs (my name is Phil ;) I'm not a sicko  ) I've still got a Lizardman Zombie I'm painting and a Skaven from cursed company to do so they are in the team pic but not seperate.

Team Pic (blurry I know):

Coach (villian from old HeroQuest) and Human Zombie conversion (cut a plastic Human Lineman down the middle to belt and added half a Skele torso from HeroQuest and a Zombie head from HeroQuest):

Ghouls (scarecrows from Gothic Horror):

Golems (also Gothic Horror):

Werewolves (both reaper):

Wights (GW BB wights):

And a couple more converted Zombies (the orc is a plastic orc with cuts throughout and some ribs showing, but maybe not in pic and the Gobbo is from HeroQuest as well):

Good job converting, I really like the zombie human.

But, If you don't mind me asking, what kind of paints do you use?

I think its called apple barrell. Their just little bottles of paint I picked up at WalMart for 44 cents a piece. I have no clue about ink washing etc, I just paint. :) You can kind of see the progression of my painting by these minis. Its pretty obvious which ones I did first as they don't look near as good or have the detail, dry brushing etc...

Hopefully I can pick a new team up at Christmas time so I can keep getting better 8)

I like the scarecrow on the lefthand side, would make a great cheerleader...oh..it's a ghoul in your team?...anyway, i just like this mini :)

As you said, the Paintjobs are getting better mini after mini! So keep on going, this team is a good start for your painting career!

Well, the thing I can recommend, and I'm sure many of the other TBB painters will agree. You'll get better results from better paint. Most of us use vallejo paints or GW paints. You get better coverage with the thinner paints and the pigmentation is more vibrant.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not dissing your painting job. They're really good, but I think they would be even better with higher quality paints. :D

Oh I completely understand and know that the better paints would look better. But until I couldn't justify buying that many colors of tiny GW paint (all my store carries) at that price. So I went with the WalMart :)

But I will definitely get some better paint to use later, like for the TBB legacy team if I get to do one.

One thing you can think about is ebay has both GW painting kits and Vallejo painting kits for sale. They give you a decent base of 10 - 12 colors to start with.

Of course, you could go hog-wild and get the Vallejo 164 paint color kit.

A good looking team. I like the range of figs that you have used. Very cool. I might try basing them on GW bases to get that sense of uniformity, but thats just me.

Actually I already have the bases to do this, its just this time of year (I coach football) is so hectic. I haven't had a day off since July. As soon as football season is over, I'm gonna get on my BB stuff hard.
