Had a moment of inspiration and decided to go scottish but i think he looks rather cute doing a little jig!

What do you think? I havent got a small enough brush to do the tartan properly... :(

Any suggestions as to what i could do to the rest of the team for variety???

Thanks

Tartan looks pretty good (certainly better than I could do), why not do the whole team in the Scottish look? Instead of High Elves, they would be Highland Elves.

You'll have to greenstuff quite a few sporans, but then you've got a really nice looking high elf team. I didn't know they could exist.

Hmmm that would be a nightmare to do i think!!! do i really need to do it or is it just for cosmetic effect?? or are you just bullying me into doing it Jan! ;)

***EDIT***

All i really wanted was an authentic team! I painted my flatmates high elves in the box scheme (as he wanted it that way!) and ive seen lots of teams done in that scheme and TBH im not fornd of the box scheme or the high elf minis.... I figured that the skirts could be painted like kilts so this is really just an experiment for me!!!

I reckon this is a great idea for a colour scheme.

Perhaps you could give each player a different pattern tartan?

It would be the finishing touch. Later when you look at your finished team you'll think "yeah, I'm really glad I put all that effort into those sporans" :D
