Does anyone know when the new skaven will be coming out?

A forum for football mini's talk.......painting, converting etc. etc. or showing off great accessories that make playing the game easier, cooler or more fun.

Does anyone know when the new skaven will be coming out?

Post by Levinas »

I'm guessing it'll be ages but I fancy painting up a new team for the Blood Bowl and don't want to get another set of the old ones if the new team will be out before then... Once I'm reassured that they aren't going to be ready in time I'll get my converting hat on and see what I can come up with.

I wouldn't count on them being released at all! With the dismantling of Fanatic there will be no new minis and I doubt that the skaven were in a stage in which the production will be pulled through before Fanatic goes oopsie in 2-3 months...

anyone knows something more accurate?

Thanks Narkotic.

If that is the case then it's a shame but it just gives me an excuse to waste time and money cutting up figures that are available...

The new Skaven might be out if they've made up some greens since the new Humans are finished but they would not be out before the Blood Bowl, I'd guess in a years time if they do get released.

Obviously the Hashrats are good, but I'm still not a fan of the figures themselves. Not keen on the plastic skaven in general.

Those 2e skaven are nice but just too expensive for me. Having hunted down all of the 2e elves at great cost, then the snotlings I'm loath to indulge myself in the rat hunt, but I know I probably will sooner or later.

Someone on here made a really cool looking skaven pirate team - I think I'll have a hunt for those pics again...

But the 2nd edition skaven thrower has the best position I've seen so far.
He seems so cool and I never would change him for any other thrower variant.

BTW are there any pictures of this new skaven figs?
