Most of these figs are ones that I've already seen. However there are a few pieces that are new to me so I thought I would point them out:

I must be honest and say while the models are nice...
the whole concept sucks...
I mean, Ogres called "Greasus" instead of "Croesus" are funny, but stretch the bounds of my limited imagination somewhat...
I think someone in GW HQ was on the purple pills when they came up with some of these ideas...
I still think the plastics are the best part of the range to be honest..

Couldn't agree more, the metal minis seem very static. Isn't the GW miniature line getting more and more stretched between dynamic and static minis? The art is great, but only some of the scuplts are made in that fashion.

I don't like most of the minis. These Yhetees are so ....well whatever...
The always remind me of the dicso aera and somehow turn on the night-fever-tune in my head. Thats not what i want a fantasy mini to do, no sir.

hm, nice stuff... i wish i could already order single sprues or parts of this ogre Kingdom serie. Some of these " gobbos" look funny
I like this pirate and ninja, too. Maybe i have to order from the US next year anyway, so i will take those two at last, too.
Still, i´m not sure, if i will use these minis to convert a BB Ogre team. But buying all those boxes to get all parts together i would like to use...

At the moment i like the original BB ogres for this project better... maybe because of the more static poses of the Kingdom Ogres ?

Sure I´ll change the gobbos from my BB Ogre Team into Gnoblars. I love these small guys. Seem like The "podlings" from "The Dark Crystal" Film.

just cut their legs off and green stuff new ones on...

I don't like the official BB Ogres because they are just so out of scale... these guys seem to be a better scale judging from the pics I have seen..
c'mon Trav, think out the box for a change will ya..
anyway, I'll be buying a regiment box after Xmas, so expect to have some spare bits lying around.. if anyone wants anything let me know..

Yeah, podlings. I knew I'd seen those guys somewhere before, just couldn't think where.

You can find similitudes in Fraguel Rock (don´t know the title in english), from Jim Henson factory too:

Check the german GW-Site (the Ogre-kingdom section), there they published some designer notes on the gnoblars (mountain goblins...aHA) and their inspirations. Still i don't like the minis...
