There was a link to a picture of a catalog page somewhere on this site. I think it is in one of the threads about new releases. Do a search. Good luck. I think there may also have been a picture of a painted team of them in a case at one of the major shows. Either way, maybe you can find one or the other.

Hmm....we were told that the new teams would come in box sets of a full 16 different minis, I only count 9 different minis for the new human team. Oh well, something is better than nothing, just wish we didn't have to wait a year until the new dwarves are released, but like I said one new team a year is better than no new minis.

I can't agree with you less. Something is not better than nothing. If they're going to do anything, I wish they'd do it right and finish what they started. They said 16 minis, they should give us 16 minis. We take the offal they produce and are grateful? For what? That they rushed something else to market AND got it there late?!? That's just plain stupid! I'm so angry with these guys I can't even begin to convey it.

Snots, when I said something is better than nothing, I didn't mean that we should accept any crap they produce. I think the new hummies look good, maybe you don't. Doesn't surprise me that they may not be doing the full 16 player team boxes as we all know, Fanatic has undergone some dramatic downsizing (only 3 people including JJ) and a cut in budget to match. I like the new humans so even though there may only be 9 different minis, I don't mind to have to double up on some linemen, just as long as the scale is better than the new vamps or elves (too small looking). Hard to tell the scale from the pics (anyone see these in RL and can tell us what the scale is like?).

Guys in that first pic there is a green with only armatures for arms in what looks to be a pose not shown in the catalog, so perhaps the figs shown are only those completed thus far.... possible, I hope.

Cheer up and play on-line!

I agree.

This is just the latest example of GW/Fanatic promising big things for the game and coming up short.

I'm happy that new minis have been dribbling out over the past four years, but I'm frustrated with the way Fanatic makes promises and plans only to constantly change and downscale them.

That has more to do with GW downsizing Fanatic and cutting their budget, not much Fanatic can do about that. GW just wants everyone to play Warhammer (either version) or LoTR, any other game system they don't give a shit about, that's the main problem.

yep, i saw some picts of resin casts of some humans at the BB04... (see page 6 of my picts report of this tournament at my website) and i liked them very much ! I´m quite sure this will be one of the next teams i will paint without great conversions at the players itself. Ok, the supportstaff will be a different story... But the ogre team conversions will come first... scribbeling the first drawings right now

BTW... at the last german WD (Dec04) is a ad about the other secret weapons coming soon, too. ( darkelfs and skaven )

OK Trav, you've seen them, what about scale? Are they small like the Vamps, Nurgle Rotters, and new Elves, or are they comparable to the other BB minis size-wise?
