Hats off to Reaper - GW should step up to the plate on this

Reaper has two new greens online and all the profits go to help Tsunami victims. A special hats off to Jason Weibe for donating his sculpting talents for a good cause. So, if anyone from GW reads this, I would love to see a BB mini with the proceeeds going to Tsunami relief...

I think Heresy are working on some Rhino themed big guys too... maybe start a Masai Mara themed team..
and yes, a great initiative... GW should do the same for a MO exclusive like the Ninja Ogre or some such...

Well, it's good to know that GW has a charitable side, but looks like no specific Tsunami miniature unless something changes.

Thanks for the email. In the past we've done several projects like this (I
was involved in one to help raise funds for a neighbors autistic son).
However, as we've grown in size such projects have proved increasingly
difficult to undertake, both in terms of organising them, but also in terms
of 'fairness' (ie, choosing who we allow to have the chance to lead such a
project). Because of this we now contribute each year to a basket of
charitable organisations. I have very little doubt that the Tsunami relief
fund will be one of the charities that we will contribute to this year. What
this means, in a roundabout way, is that *any* Citadel Miniature you will
probably contribute a little to the relief fund.

so other huge corporations that are giving $$ and supplies don't have this problem
weak Jervis.....comparing 175,000+ deaths to an autistic child.....charity on different levels I think.
