I painted my vamp models as follows:
Black Boots, Blood Red pants, Blood Red Gloves, Blood Red Wings( on helm), Black Top dry Brushed over with Bolt Gun Metal, Ice Blue Skin And Bolt Gun Metal All the Metal Looing things.

Looks pretty good IMO.

Thanks for the help guys. I'm not sure what I want to do with them. I suppose I need to come up with a theme. I'll try to kick around some football websites and see what I can drum up. Something sort of throw back with those great leather helmeted thralls.

red and black not a bad choice....
I would say pick a colour for the breast plates- kinda hard as they are a bit to hard too ignore.

Green/purple/black and silver - up to you on which bits

How about a nice Papal Purple and white... something to really scare all the impressionable catholic kids.
