Not a bad job, but I can't say I care for the glossy finish. Call it personal preference, I guess; what did you use to seal them? Also, I can't tell if the paint's a bit thick or if that's just an illusion caused by the gloss. But I've always loved those figs (even if most people around this board don't) and that color scheme, going back to when I first started the game with 2E in the late 80s, and it's great to see a team like this around here again! :)

Matter of fact, my own 2E Dark Elves, stripped yet again and also to be repainted in a Darkside Cowboys-style color scheme, are my current top BB project priority. Unfortunately, that doesn't actually mean much right now -- I injured my brush hand in a snowboarding fall recently, and don't know when I'm actually going to be able to get to work. :( Once I am able to get something done with them, though, this will be the first place they'll be shown. Mine will be 2E Darks, done in blue with yellow, but I think mine are going to be looking a bit different than yours, as I've got a couple tweaks planned.

PS - You might want to edit your link, too. The actual webpage URL has "Darkside" as one word where your link has it as two, as in "Dark Side" so it didn't actually work for me. I got a message saying I'd tried an empty gallery, then had to click on the "Gallery" button and go through the list to find it.

Just curious why you have one lineman with a yellow base ring? (that would mean he's a catcher)

Nice paintjob! And I don't mind the gloss finish at all.

I assumed the bases were unfinished, as I figured the you wouldn't have given the figs a nice paintjob like that and then done nothing with the bases. If you're disappointed with the shine, though, trying giving them a coat now of Testor's Dull-Cote. A lot of painters will actually start with a gloss finish on their figures for protection, as the gloss is supposed to be harder and more durable, and then a layer or two of DullCote to kill the gloss shine. Here's an example that was posted on CMoN of a glossy figure, before and after DullCote:

In particular, note the hood, arms, belt, and robes below the belt. It might be worth trying out for your guys.
