Phigs Imps as Snotlings?

Post by lawquoter »

kicking around on the net this morning at my parents house, and I ran across the old snotling rules from Compendium #2. Don't know how they would be in the LRB (maybe need to start a thread over at general chat for the rules gurus to dive in  ) but has anyone gotten any of Phil's imps? I can't tell on his site whether they could fit the bill for snotlings. I think I'd like to get some models that could work for them. His imps look small enough, but I can't tell from the picture if they'd work. To whip up a snotling team and throw the tactical bb book out the window really seems like a fun idea to me.

Imps would work great. The snotling rules for the MBBL2 are much better then the comp rules though.

I've got Imps and they'd work great. I also have some Snotlings left. There's a list on the for sale section.

Thanks snots, I'll go over to the for sale forum and see what's available. I think I'm going to get some imps, cruise around the gw site and see what might make a good pump wagon.

Galak should have a Snotling article in the Fanatic Mag at some point (I think he said #10).

I recommend finding smaller round bases for them as well. I have the link I got them from somewhere I'll try and find it.

I got a bagfull of 20mm round bases with one of my Hersey orders. Perfect! Most of my snots are mounted to the old 2nd ed bases sans baserings. They're about 20mm as well.

Yeah 20mm thats what they are. My snotling team is on them. If you do a search here for a thread on them I asked for them once upon a time.

sweet! You guys are great. Snots, if you're willing, I'll take you up on a pump wagon. That'll save me from ordering from gwmo. I'll run a search for the 20 mm base rings. What size are the regular bases, out of curiousity's sake?

had a dream of flying snotlings last night, now it looks like they might start coming together. :D

Regular bases are 25mm. Do the search here. Someone posted to Extreme's call for 20mm bases time with a link to a place that sold them direct. They were pretty cheap too. Wno knows. Call Neil at the WarStore. He may have some or know where to get them.
