Goliath Models+ Blood Bowl= Norse Team (PICS)

Post by thecheat231 »

I've been taking some time to convert my new Norse team, The Oslow Manglers, when I first began to think about what models i was going to ue i thought that i would use some of the Marauders I had laying around but then I saw my Necromunda gang sitting in their box sadly, I at once began convertitng the already cool looking goliaths into blood bowl players. Here are a couple to look at:

(sorry there are no pictures here right now but the transfer wouldn't work at my place of buisness so I will post them when I reach home, sorry to anyone who looks at this thread before 3:30pm)

Reason: ''
Imagine flying into someone else's country and killing it's leader with a cane. And then taking all thier money. Well he's Scrouge McDuck and I guess he can do whatever the flip he wants.

Goliaths work really well for BB. I used them as thralls for my Vampire team.

I really hate the Goliath figs, but I'm interested to see what they look like.

Old Goliaths or the newer range?

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

If that was addressed to me, yes, I use the plastic ones as my thralls. They actually look pretty decent, and it dosn't take much to take the weapons off.

Naw. This was long before the Vamp team came out. I was using fantasy and Mordheim Vamps.

well, not knowing what exactly your picture problem is, I'll just go real basic from the very beginning. First, to be able to display your pictures on the web anywhere, they have to alreay be hosted on some webspace somewhere. The easiest way to do this is to go to http://www.photobucket.com is service that's completely free and designed to allow people to post pictures for forum, online journals, and such. (There are other similar services, but PB is the one with which I'm familiar, and I've always known it to work well.)

So anyway, when you follow the upload instructions on PhotoBucket, you'll choose the pics off of your computer's hard drive and they will be uploaded to PB. Once they're up, PB will show you the url for each one, which will look like http://www.photobucket.com/your/image/url.jpg. Copy that url, and come back over here to TBB and start your post. In the row of buttons under the subject-line box, you see the "Img" button. Hover your cursor over that, and you'll see in the middle box how the opening and closing img tags should look. You can type them in by hand, with your picture's url in between; or you can click the "Img" button once to have the opening tag inserted, paste in your picture's url following it, and the click the button again and the closing tag will go in.

I think that should cover just about all of it for you. If you're still having trouble getting them up after that, be more specific as to what kind of trouble, and I'm sure someone here will be able to help out.

My Team colors are red and white (like a peticular flag) I don't know if all the mohawks should be red and white though, what do you dudes think?

If this doenst go to the top of the forum I'll make a new thread. Sorry about my crappy camera.

I agree, good job ! I think they are good as they are now, so no need to paint the hair in 2 colors.
