The dead arise

Post by Biggles604 »

Very slowly, very surely, my first BB team is coming together. Here is my new ace Ghoul, who after 3 games has already inflicted 3 casualties, including the death of a veteran star player.

It's just a snapshot. The proper photos will come when the team is done.
I'm quite happy with my first GS experimenting :)

Nice mini, Nicely conbverted and painted.

Not sure about the base though, it detracts from the quality of the rest of the work.

I'm not sure either. Not sure what to do either. Since it's a BB mini, I can't really get too fancy...

the static grass is too close to the colour of his flesh...

you would be better to do a soil covered base with just patches of grass..

I also think a black rim helps to make a model look more professional than a green or brown rim

just one guy's $0.02

I nearly always base with a black rim, this was an experiment. The static grass was too. I normally use flocking and modelling sand for simple bases. I'll probably rebase him when the rest of the team is done.

As usually Biggles, you have out done yourself. Is this the crazy ghoul who twice blitzed by DE blitzer with dodge with no assists and took him down both times?!?

If so, I am not surprised at his ferocity! Next time we play I will mark him well. With some Leather Boots!!!!

That is one good looking ghoul.

I agree with the others that the base should be redone. It really doesn't take that long to do a nice looking base.
