Most important question... is he too large for Blood Bowl?
Seems to me the scale listed on many of the recent Freebooter minis is in the 40mm range.
If someone knows whether he's a good size for our beloved game, please let me know. He'd be perfect for my Chaos team.

If he is large, he just mite make a wonderful Mino for a chaos team, especially if your in a league that uses some sort of beastmen team.

Does anyone have this mini?
Is he appropriate as a Chaos team Beastman?

The simplest way to remove weapons is to snip them above and below the hand and model on a knuckleduster/brass knuckles. You can use epoxy putty if you're up to it. I've seen great ones made from paper, cearal box, and other things. That gives the miniatures brass knuckles on each hand rather than weapons. The other option is to drill them out with a pin vise. Then you need to fill something in to make it look natural. That's a bit problematic considering how wide the handles are on this guy's weapons. If he really is as big as people say, I may have to get him for a mino on my team (though it's hard to compete with Heresy's mino and the sale/free shipping worldwide).

According to the miniatures Atlas the scale is 28mm.

While he is standing on a rock, if that base is 1 inch across, he looks to be quite tall. Probably close to 50mm to the highest point on the model.

I estimate that the fig is 2/3rds the size of how its shown on screen.

according to the site, the figure is 41mm. Just a little larger than a normal beastman, but not quite a standard mino. Could make a nice mino conversion or perhaps a custom beast star player or something.

Just an illusion of perspective. They're really not molded along the lower arm; it can be seen in the pic on this page, although it is pretty tough to make out, but going to the Freebooter page will show a couple more pics that make it slightly more clear.
