Team Pictures - The Haters

Post by darthnoir »

Greetings All

This is my first attempt at posting pictures directly to TBB. Additionally, this is my first batch of pictures using my wife's new digital camera...clearly I need more practice with it.

Also, in hindsight, I probably had too much sun on the minis when I took the photo as these pictures really don't do them justice.

This team was painted up by TBB's very on Thrudd. It was quite an adventure getting this minis to Thrudd (customs decided to be surly) and back to me again (the delivery company decided it would be fun to run over the package a few times...all hail the durability of pistol cases!).

I am very pleased with Thrudd's results.

And now...The Haters:

I'll try to post more photos soon of other minis I've had done. Especially the amazing Troll Norse painted up for me many moons ago.

I like them.

If I may, I'll add them to the gallery at bloodbowl.org

I'll also be posting picks of your version of the team you painted for me as well. I just need to work out a better way of "natural lighting" than "high noon"

Well, yeah, they're dark elves, they wouldn't like the sun anyway!

Seriously, though, the pix came out fine and so did the minis!!! Great stuff! :D

Good looking team :)

FYI, the best light for taking pictures outside is overcast or in shade of bright sunlight. The defuse light works better than the harsh light of direct sunlight

Nice looking team. I always liked the 2nd ed. dark elves though some people say they are too static.

Nope, that's one of the three normal 2E Dark Elf blitzers that were produced.
