I would go with white Roberto. It keeps the colours bright and vibrant.

If he is rookie paintes as he looks like.. i'll go definetively with Black.

The paint mistakes always look better over black.

With this colour scheme? Definitely white.

I use about a 50:50 mix of black and white.

white when I want bright colours and there is lots of detail to pick out (like my vampire team). Black for deep colours and mostly metalic models (like my warmachine army).

For a new painter, I'd recommend black undercoat for most things as it can hide a multitude of sins, but I would also recommend not trying to apply colour to a black undercoat in one go. most colours require 3 or more thin coats to get good coverage.

For lizardmen you want them to be bright and tropical... so I'd go for white.

As everybody who visited my website knews ... 99% of my minis are undercoated white

In the case of the lizzy team i would take white for sure.

Mostly i will take quite bright colorschemata for teams. So better white undercoating for this. Well, Nurgle or chaos will be another story. So, sometime its better to use black, depending which effect you like to get. p.e. i used a black undercoat for my Big BBorc because of the chainmailpainting and to avoid the white flashing through some gapes at the end.

I'm going for a sort of dark mysterios look to them, as they are mercenaries, or were, so I think I'll use black. They are not meant to be tropical because they travel and were not always under the hot sun of Lustria!
