What a great looking team! I really like how the purple turned out on the helmets of the dwarves. Too bad about the centaurs. In my opinion they are powerful players as well as interesting conversion objects

Love 'em Rams.
one thing though.....
not sure if it just me, but the second pic down.. the CD on the left looks like a chaos warrior has sunk into the floor, the arms and body look to big for the head.
maybe it is just the angle
doesn't stop me loving them though.

Hobbos look very nice, and the dwarves are well painted - but I really don't like the scale diff between torso and legs. Especially the arms give them a bit of a gorilla shape. Maybe intended? It's not my cup of toy soldiers though... ,
The mino is nice! From where do I recognize those legs? I can't pinpoint it - but there's something awfully familiar about them and the pose of the mini. Old minotaur lord, right?

yup, old 80s Mino lord...
and the gorilla look is very intended in fact.. I knew it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea, but as I built them I wanted something which looked mutated and liable to rip someone's head clean off..
preferrable to big hats and assyrian beards I hope?

I was looking at buying one of that mino on ebay yesterday. He's rather good.
These CDs still aren't my cup of tea, but I prefer them to many of the other converted CDs I've seen.
The hobgoblins on the other hand I really like, they're ace.

Very good work, though personally I don't like the long arms, plus the Dwarf torsos (I hate the current plastic GW Dwarfs) -> they make the minis seem stretched in the body...
The Goblins on the other hand... I love the facemasks like they are some sort of cultists; great!
Good work as always...

torsos and arms are from Orcs/Orks, only legs are from Dwarf plastics..
decided to sculpt facemasks to save time painting the eyes.. ended up taking hours to convert the face masks instead..

a the torsos are orc; that makes them thin/long
Dwarf torsos didn't work then?

Dwarf torsos are surprisingly small.. I wanted the chaos look so already wanted to use Orc arms.. if I had used Dwarf legs and bodies the arms would have been touching the ground..
I guess I just see Chaos Dwarves as being more than just "evil" Dwarves.. I wanted them to look physically different.. like a f*cked up experiment to cross a Dwarf and an ape or similar..
I'm about to starting working on some nasty mutations for them in case I roll doubles in the league.. God bless LRB5.0

I love pressed sandwiches and these are all carrying sandwich irons. Yum.
They look f*cked up alright. It's probably a good thing crossbreeds are sterile.

Nice job with the conversions! I've wanted to have a go at CDs for a while, but never quite got my head around how they should look. Those certainly have a nice feel to them.
I love the masks on the little goblins
