Talk Fantasy Football

Here's another work in progress. I also need suggestions for the other players. I originally intended to use 3rd edition skaven for the team, and even bought them, but they really, really aren't that nice and so 2 dimensional. I'm up to anything, doesn't even have to be skaven. At the moment it seems the skaven blitzers are going to be Freebooter miniatures Hueso Nargs, since they come in 7 parts, it should be easy to make different poses, and I'll probably swap the head of the other so there's some distinction. I will also paint their skin grey, so they differ from the other goblins (a subspecies of some sort, also works for the animosity part).

As for the throwers and the lineman. I've looked at bloodstone hoks from reaper and even the Hasslefree Agarix. I also thought about adding pink horror arms on squigs for the throwers

For the troll, I have a Reaper Lardgulp coming, which could work nicely after some converting, but I'm not a 100% sure yet.

Colourscheme will be yellow with some black trim.

First one has a magnetized hand for a claw swap, but I'll probably just attach it permanently for that mutated look.

I really love the teeny flying base and the catcher. You are also right on the 3rd ed skaven, really poor minis.
Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see them finished.

I don't see mention of what those Goblins are from, and I don't recognise them. Where are they from.

Some of them are Gamezone miniatures.
I have the same minis to use in my Underworld team!! Although none of mine look as cool as these!!!! Really nice job!! What plastic hands are you using?

They are all from gamezone. Nicest goblin figures I have seen so far.

Crypt ghoul hands. The fingers on the hands of the showboating goblin have been heated and bent into place. The claw is from a slaanesh seeker greenstuffed a little bigger.

I can see now, the ones I wasn't sure about are the Gamezone Fanatics?
I have a box of crypt ghouls sitting in my drawer and hadn't even thought about using their parts!!

Yeah, the three fanatics. The hands fit really nicely, which was lucky, as I ordered them as bits just for this. I wasn't sure if they were the right size.

I take it back! They aren't crypt ghoul hands, sorry. They're zombie hands...

These are really brilliant conversions. Those fanatics are so dynamic! I liked these models when I first saw them, but I never thought that cutting off their balls would make them good at sports.

Ouch. I thought long and hard whether to cut their balls off or not (in reality, they are two piece models to start with. I didn't even have to cut anything.) I have them in a safe place, maybe I can stick them on some other models...

I have the 'Obscene' Goblins from Gamezone in my team as they are flashing their arses and i've converted one to be making a rather rude gesture with the hand that isn't pulling his shorts down!!
I think I may well get the fanatics too now i've seen what can be done with them.

Oh man! I didn't even notice the quotation marks on the "offensive" goblins until now, and had only seen one unclear picture of them. I think I have to get the package and exchange a lineman with one of them. Brilliant!

But there's still the question of the other players. The models would have to be on par with the rest, and not so serious...

I believe there is a new Neomics Troll coming out that would possibly match the look you are going for. I've got the new Willy Miniatures Troll in my team and am using the Impact Ratmen as my Skaven. I looked around for some less serious ones but couldn't find much. The Gaspez Skaven are not too serious and I thik a couple have mutations (i know 1 certainly has a big hand) I'm not personally a fan of the miniatures but they are an option.
