Painting gobbos

Post by Mago »

So two of my mates convinced me that all three of us should take goblins to a con this Easter. That means that I have to paint a goblin team...

I have gotten most of it done:

Being on a hard deadline I went for a very basic method, but I still think it looks good.

If you cannot stall out for an 8 turn drive to score with dwarves then you need to go and play canasta with your dad..if you can find him.

Looks good. Neomics Goblins are great models and I think tou have done them justice. But what is the white straws on the bases?
It the con GothCon by any chance?

It is indeed GothCon. :)

The white on the bases is just static grass to break up the bases a bit more. Obviously the pitch they are on is not well maintained, and some of the grass has grown more and then withered.

And here is the entire team!

I just noticed today that one of my "trolls" is actually an ogre. I went to my local shoppe and asked for a neomics troll... Oh well, it's a bit late to change now, besides I like his sideburns.

Before Neomics brought the second troll i converted the first one to get two for my team.
But i couldnt ressist...and now i got three of them for my team.
That´s an old shot of the team. I got this nice Neomic fanatic later, too.

Nice! Who does not like pink gobbos I ask?! :D

I'm a bit worried about the fanatic breaking as the wire to the ball feels quite thin. We shall see...
