Impact! New Chaos Figure - How should we paint it?

Post by mrinprophet »

We have a several new minis coming to the store. Our new Chaos Monster could be used for many things. He is 31mm to the eyes running and 29.5mm flat footed. We thought of him as scaled similar to 2e big guys but could also make a nice ST4 chaos warrior for pestilence. He could be green for a troll or pestilence player, brown for Minotaur, or flesh for ogre. Inkpawn noted that red more might work as well to match the colors from the Chaos player in Forbeck's book. We'd like your thoughts as he's off to the painter.

Keep away from the Forbeck rubbish.
I'd say brown/green.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

but he's brown and green already...

with all the boils I see him as being more a pestilent blighter than anything else.. I'd paint him up as a Champion of Pus or similar..

Is it one of the «Chaos Warriors» that was announced for the nurgle team? Is Impact! making four different?
