Hi!
Last week I was delighted to find out that my entry to the FF-Fields "Team Too Cool" contest, had won the 1st place in the category that I've applied for, the Best Original Concept.
Here's a pic of the entire team.
Please feel free to check a couple more pics and some fluff about them in the
Merry Mayhem News blog.
I hope you like them!
A.

Those are the coolest themed fling team I've ever seen (sorry scotlings). I wish I had a team like that in my life

Absolutely amazing! I'm usually really good at this, but don't recognise any of the models! Well, one or two maybe? What have you used, and how much conversion work is there? Incredible stuff!

Hi guys, thanks a lot for all the kind remarks!
It was a great pleasure and a lot of fun to do these guys!
The very first reaction to the team to most ppl that sees them is a good laugh because they look so comical under "those big hats"!
Each of the Bandits has some degree of conversion on it: A couple of them is just a green stuff touch either in the coat or in the hair and hands, but yes all the
sombreros and
ponchos are all home made.
Aside from the tied up sheriff -
George
Wills - (what George Wills, George takes...), all the other halflings are from Black Hat miniatures.
The cactus are scratch build, they have a wire core and different mix of stuff on top to dress them out, including green stuff and a some plastic bits for different races.
And now thanks to that "Team Too Cool" bunch of guys from FF-Fields (see what I did right there?

) the Bandits will be having a dusty new custom pitch of their own!
BANG! BANG!

Ha! Wow, this is definitely one of the most creative and original themes that I have seen, period. Awesome conversions, awesome painting, awesome everything. Hilarious too. The tied up sheriff and cacti treemen are inspired. Just wow.
