Discuss Fantasy football-style board games - GW's Blood Bowl, Impact!'s Elfball, Privateer Press' Grind, Heresy's Deathball, etc. THIS IS NOT AN NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL SITE!
A forum for football mini's talk.......painting, converting etc. etc. or showing off great accessories that make playing the game easier, cooler or more fun.
Star players! Ummm yea, Star players. Every star player is welcome, the deadline is July 1st and remember you must paint your entry for the challenge, no pre-painted entrys.
Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.

This seems a good enough excuse to paint some of these rarely used star players I have sitting around. I'll have to dig through the box and pick one tonight.
I disagree with the title - fan favourites pffttt!
Real BB teams don't take Stars.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.
Painted up a Puggy tonight for use at Cakebowl tomorrow! Didn't know about this though, bonus!!
I've got a hastily taken picture on Facebook, but can't figure out how to.get it on here with my phone. I'll take some better ones later and upload them!!

his head is a resin Black Lotus thingy by maxmini I think.. I carved off the skull because I didn't think it looked very elfy, or very greek for that matter.. his right hand is courtesy of an Impact! viking runner, his left (ball) hand is courtesy of an Impact! Theja Doris arm option. I replaced his Spartan emblem with a green stuff Maltese type cross to match the rest of the Black Scorpion high elves which Aflo just painted up for me, and I also removed the really bad lion's head from his right shoulder and simply sculpted it up as a wolf pelt instead.. fun mini to convert and only about 3 hours to paint...

Self sculpt, painted for the Lutèce Bowl 2012, played with a Vampire Team (21/100!)
Looks like a pretty sweet sculpt and I like the way you've painted the face.
