Diorama - yay! We have photos....

Post by barnacle111 »

So I'm in the process of making a simple diorama. It's a bloodbowl scene with undead taking on pro elves. It will be based on a grey astrogranite pitch (old school I know). But what I am trying to work out is team colours...
I need strong contrasting teams that will work well together. Possibly actual teams? Possibly completely new schemes...

Suggestions would be great. Names with the teams even better! I'll post pics with progress.

Thanks,
Tom

So I've gone for elfheim eagles and a dark purple and black for the skeletons. Will post pics shortly. Having said that does anyone know how to attach photos straight from the iPhone? (it doesn't give me the option to attach at the bottom of the 'post reply' page). Our computer is stuffed currently...

Alway wanted to build another one, but never found the time for it.

Looks like you have bare greenstuff skills! Nice job. Clearer pics would be great, this looks like a cool project :)

Try Tapatalk in the app store. I picked it up a couple of months ago and only visit the main site now to vote in polls. Cost is about $3, from memory.

Here's an upload using tapatalk. Can you tell what it is? :P

So, tapatalk. Thanks for the heads up with that one, let's try again! Right so this is the base so far...

By the way traveller, my diorama is not even going to be close to the scale and skill of yours! Awesome work mate.

Do you upload to tapa or forum? The one above I uploaded to TFF, and it immediately gave me an option to reduce it in down. Mind you so does the (etc and so on).

I have tried to upload a picture of one of my dwarf players which I took previously and I think it worked.

here we go next stage... First two whole players.
So the elfheim eagles.... I stupidly forgot to check the actual colours with my wife. As you may realize, I am colour blind, so not sure if colours are accurate! Apologies for that. Anyway. More to follow. Any comments/crit?
I enjoy the modeling and painting more than the gaming.

Another angle. I'm not sure about the dark elf wyches as pro elves, mixed feelings, but I've done it now and not going to change it!

Great positioning and looking excellent all round!

What are you going to use this for (or is it just a display piece)?

BTW - where did you get the hands from, and how have you done the ball carrying?
