Thralls for a Vamp team

I have been looking around to create a Vampire team from different minis. I have found the Gaspez arts Vamps (Brilliant) and some old Von Carstein models from GW (which will be converted) but what minis are the best ones for the Thralls?

I am not keen on the Gaspez ones particularly... may be it is the images on the website (if any one has a set of images from their own team I'd like to see them) and the GW ones are ok.

Are there any alternatives?

Thanks

TheDoc

Don't know if they would work for you but, if I was building a Vamp team today, I might have a go with GW empire flagellants.
A few shoulder plates/helmets and that ragged look would fit the bloodthirsty look of the vampires like a glove IMO.

kroot shoulder pads fit them very nicely also. I used flagellants bodies and arms with kroot shoulder pads and night goblin heads for my hobgoblins.

Depends on your feeling.
Gw ones are not the worse minis of BB.
You have also dark elves of shadowforge, or nuns, in a different way.

Personally, I really dislike capes, cloaks and robes on Blood Bowl minis purely because it just doesn't make sense to wear that sort of thing while playing sports. What might be cool is using flagellant torsos on free company legs? I know the flagellant torsos come attached to the legs but it's not too difficult to slice em up. I've done something similar here.

For something simpler, I've seen people using the plastic humans from the boxed set and they looked fine. Thralls are just human slaves, after all.

I might be tempted to go with something rather different like the Neomics steam-punk style humans:

alternatively, any of the GW plastic kits (like Bretonnian men at arms, or Empire etc) with these heads would work..

I bought hordes Orobos bloodweavers but am not convinced. thinking of trying the shadowforge humans.

Heff, I agree on the blood weavers, also struggling to work out how to convert them to decent bb poses, as they all have arms straight in the air and attached to hair ....

i'm about to start a vampire-team and have been looking for nice thralls for a while.

for my vampires i took the privateerpress skorne bloodrunners and i wanted fitting minis for the thralls.

first i tried mantic ghouls as they are cheap and easy to convert.
then i tested female thralls from gaspez arts – but they were to big compared to my vampires.

now i'm trying to get an unded, vampirella-look on the silvania-elves from greebo – my vampires prefer nice ladies over ghoulish-like zombies, i think :)

I had hoped this concept would go to a full team of 12: http://www.goblinforge.com/catalogue_famille.php?Id=13

I'm using 2ed humans and humans that are part of the 2ed Chaos all-stars, along with vamps from Impact minis....

@DiggerGorman

There is another rastafarian team on the market, with their powers combined!

Also, as far as thralls go why not go the novelty rout so many people go, vicious vampires with buxom maidens.

Initially I did a stopgap with clics using nosferatus and female runaways, somewhat John Carpenterish in nature; then switched to a clic undead quarterback till I get painting time for the second editions....

In the end I want it to be a little more footballish than novelty, though the combined rastas are interesting... maybe... though I do have several minis from the Vampire Wars line that are variations of insane asylum patients that might be even more novel to field!

I think I have found some good minis on Heresy. The Dark Brethren look like the sort of servants that may help Vamps. :)
