Sure it has been asked before, but top 3 teams on looks?

No doubt this has been discussed many times but as I sort through my BB collection I can't help but think I love some teams so much more than others.
So, my top three
1) 2nd Skaven. By far and away my favourite, no other incarnation has captured what i think a bunch of giant rats playing american football would look like.
2) The Impact Sarcos team. Giant crocidiles, wonderfully sculpted. I reinforced mine with a few wargods of aegptus crocs for the support section.
3) Torn between Neomics Goblins (haven't got the secret weapons yet which could put them ahead) and Greebo frogs (Gaspez is a good team with poses like this
http://www.gaspez-arts.com/?go=details&id=57 but overall don't I think look as good, though probably do look more like the slann armour!)
Though I recognise if I had it I think the Neomics Underworld would be right up there (note does anyone know of a UK stockist?)
As an aside the Neomics Orc Ref is something I have always wanted a copy of!
(Heff's will no doubt all be starkers and not dwarves.)

I don't own any of these, since I'm not a big metals purchaser and I like to convert my own teams, but the 'big 3' metal teams I'd consider to be almost reference items they're so good:
1) Impact/Rolljordan Sarcos
2) Greebo Volmarian
3) Rolljordan Frogs
There are elements of brilliance in other ranges and teams, but they don't come together for me the way these do.

You can't beat 2nd ed GW teams for me:
1. Skaven
2. Elves
3. Dwarves
Jes Goodwin at his very best on the Skaven & Elves, and the Perrys doing some tremendous work on the Dwarves. The BEST bit about all 3 teams is that they are not fantasy models, they are clearly something distinct!

I'll have to (almost) agree with axiom on this one. In my book, nothing beats the 2nd ed teams, although my list would sound:
1. Skaven
2. Elves
3. Humans

Thing is, there are many teams where some figures are awesome and others are crap. Like the 2nd ed. Skaven (GR's are crap, rest is awesome, the thrower with ball down is super awesome) or the Gaspez Chaos Dwarfs (Hobgoblins are crap, rest is awesome).
With that in mind, my list would be
1: 3rd ed GW Chaos Dwarfs
2: Gaspez Circus Goblins
3: Willy Necros

Ok, catchers or whatever they are called. You know them, the ones with the ovenmittens as gloves.

Gotta agree here 100%, with the caveat that I find it hard to leave out any of the 2nd ed range. The orcs and humans were perhaps the "plainest", and the dark elves maybe lacked a bit of dynamism, so the above three are definitely deserving of the top places. But I also really love the goblins, snotlings and halflings. Especially the goblin linemen and the snotlings. So tiny.
I'm glad that the 2nd ed skaven seem to be winning this poll pretty convincingly so far.

It appears that everyone - including myself - have forgotten one of the most beautiful "teams" ever produced. Yes, there are only six miniatures which hardly make up for a team but I feel they should be mentioned nonetheless:
* 2nd ed. Chaos Dwarfs

(-and as an alternative for hobgoblins; might I suggest these four 1st ed. minis:)
