Looking on getting a custom feild done, need it by May want it by January.. put an order in Sept but haven't gotten to the first draft artwork yet and need decide whether to stick with them or not...what is the normal turnaround time to get something made via fffields and are there other alternatives or should I just get artwork done and work on getting the board made separate once the art is done?

We got some fields from them, it was quick and a smooth contact, already had the logo though. Have you mailed and asked them?

A few times, I got the chaos cup field this year and like their work, just frustrated at the lack of response.

Some aussie players got fields through them and it went smoothly and without a hitch.
I won one in their painted team contest, and haven't heard from them in months - they also havent replied to enquiries. ^shrug^ Perhaps they've just been having email problems?

I've won one in that contest too, and while they were fairly quick to reply to the issues related with the modding/customization of the pitch (and shipping it afterwards), they have never answered to some other questions that were in the very same emails:
at the time I had a couple of league mates quite interested in having some pitches made, so I've asked about prices and other related issues, but they simply ignored my questions on all those matters.
I kinda felt it was odd, since it could mean more business/money for them (and good publicity because I was quite pleased with the professionalism and smoothness everything was running).

I think sometimes they just get busy, things took a bit of time for me too but they did come through in the end and I'm loving the results.

Mine took about 3 months from start to finish, but I had similar communication issues.

+1
It was a bit long for me too but we had good communication and I really enjoy my field!

They finally got back to me, with some great first-draft art.

Yeah - I ordered 25 pitches from FF Fields for the Rat City group. Communication was spotty at times, but I have nothing but good things to say otherwise. Great art, great final product, nice guy. I'd chalk up the communication lapses to him being busy and on another continent. I'd definitely order from FF Fields again.

Hey guys, why not stick pics of your pitches on here to show them off for all to see.

Yeah, I'm going with fffields now, Sansebo did good work also but just the first few bits on the fffields is standout. Might have the board by the West Coast Quake, but definitely for NATC and (if I can make it next year) Chaos Cup.
