Chaos Team (painted)

Post by odinsgrandson »

Well, I don't know that there's a whole lot else to say about them. Most of them are pretty old minis (they came out with the 3rd edition of Blood Bowl, and I bought them and left them unpainted for quite a while...).

I converted a minotaur from the plastic kit- I'll get some photos up of him later.

Amazing job! The Chaos Warrior conversions look phenomenal -- adds a lot of individual character to each of them.

Very nice paintjob!

I like a well executed simple paintscheme with 2 base colours accentuated by some metallics.

I'm a fan of your past work and REALLY like the beastman hues and chaos warrior metallics.... Got nothing against pink, per se, but it is painfully distracting on an otherwise awesome production....

Yeah, but I didn't get any pictures of them unpainted.

I bought them way back when, and at the time decided to do some conversions on the chaos warriors.

So, when I recently got around to painting them, I had two cut up chaos warriors, and a bits box full of stuff to make them out of.

The warriors on the right are both based on the Blood Bowl Chaos Warriors, and both have plastic chaos warrior helmets. The lower one also has old plastic chaos warrior legs- everything else you see is green stuff.

The one on the top left is just an old plastic chaos warrior with a little green stuff.

The bottom right one is the torso from an old metal chaos warrior cavalry mini, with the plastic legs from the same set as the others.

lovely stuff.. I'm not as taken with the CW conversions as others seem to be, but I love the different skin tones on the beasts.. with only 3 basic poses available (I think?) it's great to be able to mix in skin tones to keep it interesting...
