Hello everyone,
getting ready for a league that will start next January, i'm (slowly) painting my Undead Team.
Here's a test model i painted about a year ago:
More recently i started painting the rest of the team:
And i finished the 4 Ghouls:
I will try to post other miniatures as soon as i finish them, let me know what you think about it, i accept criticism and suggestions

look great! the flesh on the ghouls maybe looks slightly drybrushed, but as a team they look awesome!
I wish I could take photos of this quality.. mine are never as good as I hope they will be..

Superb face on the first mummy. You can't beat that old GW sculpt for a mummy I think.

Thank you all for the comments!

Beautiful photos and great paint job
My photo setup is quite basic, i have a good camera (Canon G11) but i think having a good backdrop image really helps the final result. I took the backdrop images i use from here:
http://corvusminiatures.blogspot.it/201 ... ature.html.
Here is my photo setup in action, as you can see, nothing special!
And now back to my Undead Team, i finished 4 zombies and i'm happy about the final result:
Now, i guess i will have to paint 2 more zombies, do you think for a league 4 zombies are enough or do i need more?

Thanks for sharing the photo setup. I will give that a try. Just out of curiosity, do you use a special type of lightbulb?
A couple of extra zombies wouldn't hurt, you have to consider the need for journeymen following the occasional really rough game.
The zombies look great. I'm looking forward to the rest of the team.

Thank you Chen! No special lightbulb used, i was looking for a daylight bulb but i didn't find it so i opted for a cool lightbulb ("cold" white light as opposed to "hot" yellow light).
I will probably paint 2 more zombies and 2 skeletons, just to be sure, but first i have to finish the 2 whights and mummy n.1
Oh, and i also have 3 star players ready to be painted: Count Luthor, Hack Enslash and Ramtut III

I really like those! This team is really shaping up. Very clean and simple paint scheme (not a bad thing at all).
It really works. Great cohesive team look. These will look great once they are ready to take to the pitch!
(I download the backgrounds and gave the photo set up a try. It worked really well. Thanks again for the tips)!

Thank you Chen!
I see you used the backdrops to photograph your great DoomTrike Deathroller ™, well done
(oh, what did you use to compose the final image? )

Thanks you! Must be my green thumb

Yep, and mummy n°1 is a great sculpt too
Now i have a playable team: 2 mummies, 2 wights, 4 ghouls and 4 zombies painted.
Name of the team: Purple Pain
I should paint 2 more zombies and 2 skellies, i have them primed but i'm struggling to start the painting, we'll see

I used Gimp. It is a great free photoshop type program. I'm a big fan of it. Lots of good tutorials online.
