Bashing a Dark Elf team together

its a bit late tonight so tomorrow night after work im thinking of bashing together a dark elf team out of some old Dark Eldar sprues i have lying around. I dont have any witches or anything just standard troopers, a couple of jetbike bodies and legs and the crew from a raider so im not expecting anything fantastic just a servicable team that i can use. May post pictures if i dont think their terrible, may end up in the bin we'll see how it goes. Looking to minimise green stuffing where possible and just do a rapid build and see how it goes

This is the start of my dark elf team, not too displeased with them so far will post updates as I go
My only complaint is that I think the fists are a little big

Last one before bed. Didnt bash the team out in 1 night, got distracted by fifa and fumbbl. Got 3 line elves done and another 5 are awaiting arms. Tomorrow will do them then probably start my blitzers . Then its the runners and the assassins.

I think you'll get a servicable team together with those parts. The fists won't bother you as much when completed and painted up and they're on the playing field.

Turning out just fine!
I've seen quite a few teams using similar mini parts and they do their job pretty well.
Keep us posted!

I like the old dark elder bodies the best for bloodbowl.

They are less detailed or dynamic as the new ones but look more like sportswear, plus they don’t have backbacks. The heads and arms are not that well sculpted but are the right scale for the rest.

How are you going to differentiate between the blitzers, linemen and runners?

All the different positionals will have different heads to represent the position

I did mine warlock purple and bright green using corsairs and witch elves from 40k. The heads you used for the line elves will look really cool

Time for an update. After a couple of days of not finding the energy I decided to force myself to pick this up again before it becomes another half finished project. Managed to get 2 blitzers and a runner done with the other on the way

i've been trolling ebay for a box of those figures to make a team for abour 6 months. i've seen plenty, but they seem to command more than i want to pay. or are they getting rare?
maybe i should just call GW us and ask if they have any left over...?
