Classic Monster miniatures

I want to make up a necro/undead team inspired by classic movie monsters.

I'd like to find a "Bride of Frankenstein" miniature? (the Elsa Lanchester character with big black hair with white streaks).

I'd also like to find a Lon Chaney style Phantom of the Opera and a Creature from the Black Lagoon.

Does anyone know of suitable miniatures anywhere? or any that would require the minimum of conversion?

Foundry used to do a Bride of Frankenstein model in their Victoriana range, but its not currently available.

Four A miniatures do a cracking creature:

For the Frankenstein bride, I'd suggest the old Isabella v.Carstein mini:

Perhaps a little late to the party, but the new "Amazing Spider-Man" Heroclix set has the obscure character "Manphibian" in it - an obvious pastiche of the Creature from the Black Lagoon if there ever was one...

That Four A mini is pretty awesome - I don't think you could trump it, but Manphibian is at least pre-painted if you need a backup.

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm not a fan of those pre-painted plastics.

Have you checked West Wind?

Might be worth emailing Foundry. They've been getting their OOP packs back into their range, so they might be able to give you info on if/when it might be available.

Thanks Simon

I have emailed foundry.

I'm not so sure about SHQ but I may email them. I'm surprised that a miniatures company doesn't have pics on their website!!

I've found quite a few smaller companies that don't, which is a shame, as when I saw some of them at Salute last year, they had some gems, but without ever seeing them, I wouldn't know.

The SHQ range seems to have been brought from Chiltern miniatures.
I "think" this is the miniature:

They do look really nice. They also have some nice Vampires, a Phantom of the Opera and Jack the Ripper. They may be a little small at 25mm scale. I've been ordering in 28mm from other places.

I'm going to wait until the outstanding orders from various suppliers turn up and see what I've got and what I need.

But I'm sorely tempted to order some of those sets to make a team from them.
