Sebastian Archer (Guild of Harmony) posted this on Frothers - a very nice Chaos Warrior figure for Sandgroper Cup 7 BB tournament. Thought some of you might like to see it!

This 'chaos warrior' is the Sandgroper Cup 7 event miniature - it's a Bloodbowl tournament in Western Australia: http://www.sandgropercup.com/sgc7.html I think everyone who attends gets a free copy of the figure - and then they are selling the remaining casts after the event. I think it's limited to 200 casts all up?
Anyway, I tried to sculpt this figure in a sort of 'classical GW' style - modernised a little, of course. Take a look at the concept art I was using: the concept art is by Christian Schwager (http://www.solitudo.com/), and it went through quite a few iterations before the SC7 guys decided on the final design. However, they wanted me to try to make the figure look a bit taller and less like a barrel-chested/dwarven armoured guy...so I made a few modifications. They also wanted a few more details, so I put on some extra SKULLZORZ and things hanging from the waist (classic GW, right?!)
The client also requested a single-piece cast, which influenced some of the design decisions, especially things like the angle/positioning of helmet/horns/spikes etc.
Anyway...it's 32mm, 95% sculpted in super sculpey firm, with a little procreate for the horns and spikes.
