My Human Team (conversions)

I haven't posted a new team in quite a while because I was trying to update my English blog following the same order of my Spanish blog. Well there are still 9 or 10 entries that I haven't translated before the entry of the next team but I've decided to skip them 8) and I posted my Human Team.
Image

My brother and I made this team using mainly plastic humans from the Empire Free Company box of Warhammer Fantasy Battles. There are also other bits from other Empire plastic miniatures, like the Empire Knights or the 6th edition Empire State Troops, and obviously an ogre.
Image

I took pictures for this team in 3 different moments (except for the ogre), the original plastic miniatures, the miniatures with the putty and the miniatures painted. I think is interesting to show how they changed.

4 Human Blitzers made with 6th Edition Empire Troops, arms from the Empire Knights of the White Wolf and putty. I've made a tutorial to explain how we made the small helmet wings but it is not yet translated and I'm not sure I'm gonna do it, if someone is interested in the translation let me know it.

5 Human Linemen also made with miniatures from the Free Company and putty.

An Ogre made using an Ogre from the Ogre kingdoms Bulls.

A starplayer/coach. We had some spare parts and we decided to use them.

We are really proud of the result of this team and I hope you like it too.

Cheers!

Nicely converted, they blend very well into the BB universe. Would like to see some "in-game"-shots.

The paint job is ok, but nothing truly spectacular.

The sculpting/conversion job on the other hand is awesome, especially as some of the original models don't look at all 'Blood Bowl-y', yet the finished team definitely do. Great work.

I second that. Great transition from troop to players. Lovely putty work there!

Completely true the paint job is even a bad one. We don't really like painting but I love sculpting even if i'm not great at it yet :D .

If you think you're still doing pretty average sculpting work then I look forward to seeing what you come up with as you improve. Sculpting is definitely more difficult than painting and I think you're above average in the sculpting department already.
