I can post here in this sub forum :-?
Now this team did get a run at Euc Bowl - but I've not had a chance to show off the paintwork.

The team sharted on this thread:http://www.ausbowl.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=6497

And then was updated on this thread: http://www.ausbowl.com/viewtopic.php?f= ... 57#p166457

Now I present the Nurgle team made up exclusively of Rackham Confrontation 'Dwarves of Mid Nor':

Firstly, the Nurgle Warriors:

Do you like the way I indicated that one of these guys is a star player? ;)
I also deliberately painted each of these warriors with a unique pattern on their carapace - like unique butterfly markings...

Next up -the pestigors:

I love their tentacles - but I do think that #9 (who has lost his number transfer in battle at Euc Bowl) doesn't quite fit in with the others - never mind.

And now the rotters: I really enjoyed painting these guys - although I think it doesn't really sit tidily with me. I normally presume that the 'evil' teams in Blood Bowl are more misunderstood than evil - perhaps Anarchic more than evil - but these minis are just twisted!

And my Beast. While he isn't as 'tentacly' as he should be - he does have a big hose!

Apologies his face is out of focus - it's clearer in the 'whole team' shots down below.

He won me 'Best individual miniature' at Euc Bowl - mainly because Fassbinder's Chaos Pact team had already won best painted team - so his bright pink Chaos Troll wasn't eligible.

And now for the whole team - a few shots with different focuses and light levels:

On reflection - I do really love minis with this much detail. Sure, they take FOREVER to paint, but I feel the satisfaction seeing them on the pitch and people walking past insisting on picking them up to look at them - it's worth it! :P

I'm not sure that my 'bubbles' on the bases quite work - I wanted to go with a bubbly marshlike look - as though the mud was bubbling away with putrid gas. I used little plastic fill from a bag my wife bought - but they look too much like shiny balls.

Next mission: The DownUnderWorld Creatures. My wombat is already painted and based thanks to the Speed Demon competition at the B-9 Tourny.

And lastly - the Nurgle team going down 2-0 to a Chaos pact team (Not Fassbinders - who won best painted team, Stratford's) at Euc Bowl. I took this shot as I love a Blood Bowl board with such well painted minis.

Very nice.

The issue with number 9 seems to be tha the top of the head is black, while the rest could be described as mostly orange and ivory. Also the arms are black while the rest are green. It has the same palette than the others, but in different places. Maybe change part of the arms to green and the hat(?) to brown or very dirty white?

Wow. Good to see how you paint silver as well. It's so hard to get right.
