1 Amazon done - 15 to go...

Post by outcast »

I'm finally, getting round to painting my Impact! Amazon team. I played my first league game this week (using elves as surrogates) so my aim is to get the team finished before the league is over! :-?

I'm starting to find some techniques that I'm happy with and I'm really pleased with the flesh tones on this model but, as always, would love to hear any feedback/criticism/tips.

Thanks

Excellent job ! Human flesh is realy hard to do. Impact amazon is realy the best amazon team and your paint job confirm it.

The base border should be black instead of white.

I'll bet the white base ring is to show that this is a Thrower.

You are probably right but for aesthetic reason you should perhaps make the top half border in black and a small bottom line in white.

@Loki - that's exactly right.

@snakees - I like that idea. I'll see how it looks when I have the whole team done as it does jump out at the moment... also have to see if I think I can paint a neat line like that all round the base...

EDIT: And thanks for all the comments, guys. The Impact! Zons are my favourites - they look tough yet keep a certain femininity without bending over in silly porno poses! :-)

Very nice work, particularly like the highlight work you've done on the abs/hip.

Nice paint job. Not sure if it's just the pictures I've seen, but the detail on these doesn't seem very sharp? What's your experience with the mini in hand?

Kick-arse paint job on a terribly timmy team....

I look forward to the day you paint something... less "lively".... :orc:

I found them fine but I haven't got a whole lot of experience with other teams, I'm afraid, so not got much to compare them too.
