Inspiration/ideas for Star Trek themed colour scheme

Folks,

I'm in the process of painting my 5th ed Human Team, the 'Boldly Goers' themed after Star Trek the Original Series.

Players are identified by the colour of their jerseys:
Blitzers = Golden Yellow
Catchers = Blue
Linemen = Red (they're expendable!)
Thrower =Green (after the tunic that Kirk sometimes wore which looked green on film)

My request for help lays with Star Players. What colour jersey should I go with? Ideas I have so far include:
- White/grey after the Enterprise
- As per the Next Generation colour scheme (late style like DS9)

Your inspiration is greatly appreciated.

This leans me towards white for the colour of the Enterprise and command in the Motion Picture (despite it sucking as a film!). It would be fitting for a Star Player.
