So I might ask Santa for the Mega Set this Christmas so that I may get back to painting once I'm done with school in March....
What's the general opinion of the paints compared to citadel/ gw paints? The mega set seems like good deal, is it worth it?
Thanks!

Re: Army Painter Mega Set question...
I personally prefer the GW metallic paints over other brands.
I prefer the Vallejo Model Color greens and some other colors over those from other brands.
Army Painter makes some very nice blue paints carrying a lot of pigment (which allows thinning of the paints)
For skin colors I tend to prefer the GW paints again
I really like the old (not the old old but the black cap) GW inks and still have a few of them that I use on nearly every miniature I paint
It's difficult to find decent reds and yellows. I like the Vallejo Game Color yellows but they tend to clump up within a few months.
