WIP Dark Elf Team Re-make (lots of pictures)

Have been slowly working on replacing the old dark elf team, they were great, but all the same models made it difficult to see what was what.


tried to keep weapons on, but couldn't get the pinning process to work with the cut down pole arms













miss step here by putting arms on and not painting them



arms are in a neat pile just off screen



getting two assassin models tonight will update when the line elfs are glued together and or the assassins have paint on them

Just out of curiosity, why did you kept the shields in some of the models?
If it is to make them easier to tell apart from the other positionals, how about painting their helmets (or the lip of their bases) in a different colour?

have the shields for blitzers, now that I have completely different models for line elfs I should knock them off or put on the backs

just finished the line elfs, next I am off to find two dark elf shades that fit with the team

In hindsight I would have swapped the blitzers and line elf's
