You may or may not know that I organise a yearly Blood Bowl tournament called Southern Shrike Bowl (SSB).

After each game at SSB the coaches give out votes to the best 3, 2 and 1 votes to 3 players on the opposition (as in the actual players on the field). The player that receives the most votes over the tournament wins the MVP and the coach of that player gets to design a mini, which is given out as a player gift at the next SSB.

The 2014 Southern Shrike Bowl MVP was Mutton McGee, an Ogre from Nathan Staff's Ogre team Get Shrekt.

While this is an Ogre ‘Ogre’, rather than a Chaos Pact ‘Ogre’, I decided to get some mutations made for the mini to give people some options. So the mini will come with Tentacle and Claw options.

With that claw option he'd make a great Yeti, which is what I'd use him as

I like him. He looks kind of an ungroomed version of He-Man, but nicely done. Also good: he comes with mutations!
He reminds me of the Impact ogre line though. Which I like, too!

Is there any chance for non-SSB'er to get hold of a mini as well (or even previous)?

He looks very nice indeed.

Yeah, that was my thought too. He'd easily work as a Yeti on a Norse team, especially since the Claw looks more human-like, rather than a crab claw.

As with the previous 2 MVP minis (Chaos Pact Minotaur and Chaos Pact Dark Elf), he will be available to buy from Impact! Miniatures after the tournament is run in August.

Very nice minis by the way! I hope at the next SSB there will be a vote for a troll. That would get me a complete set of Chaos Pact big guys

Funnily enough, the Minotaur and the Ogre were both won by the same coach! I have told him that he has to play a Goblin, Orc, Chaos Pact or Underworld team this year with a Troll in it and make sure that the Troll gets the MVP so that we can have all the big guys for the Chaos Pact team!
