What GW brown is best for a Treeman?

Yo,

I'm painting a Willy Miniatures Treeman but am not happy with the browns that I have. I appreciate that trees come in all different shades but even after a few shades and dry-brushes, mine looks more like chocolate than wood.

Can anyone suggest any GW paints that would do the job?

Thanks y'all,

Dfunk.

Mix in some gray and greens. Maybe even put some flock in strategic places.

Trees look like this:

I agree 100% with rolo - the use of grey/gray to highlight is important.. very few trees are truly "brown" if you look at them up close.. greens also work, although if you are adventurous I would also recommend to glue bits of flock on treemen to look like moss, ivy etc..

drybrushtastic!
