Talk Fantasy Football

Good day! With the advent of the Age of Sigmar my Warhammer fu went somewhat down the drain, however I stumbled back on the PC copy of Blood Bowl and got a tad hooked. Since then I've knocked together a pitch, all the bits to go with it and several teams. This one is my favourite, the Orciad Orcnihilators! (Named after age of antiquity characters such as Orchilles, Neroc etc!)

Nice work on those. How did you shade the yellows?

With the GW base yellow to start, then a mid range yellow, I believe it's Golden but it's OOP. Then a sepia wash, followed by the lighter yellow edging!

They're quite alot more muted in these images, there's a better one in the WIP image below!

Last weekend the Orcs played their first games, coming 1st in a casual local league day with 3 games.

I also painted most of the other teams for the tournament, here is a beastmen team.





A 'Dwarf' team... Painted last minute for an extra player, so somewhat worse than the others.



My partner produced this team, her Bunnzons. Painted nearly entirely by her. She promptly came 2nd, only losing to me.




A skaven team that went unused.

Now there's a name I've not seen in a while.

I'm all good, man. Got a transfer to another store and then hot-footed it off to work in facilities management, so it all worked out.
