Hi guys,

I just saw these printed minis on the RNEstudio website, where they advertise their 3D printing.



But they are not to be found in their store. (Or am I blind?)

I wonder who makes them and if you could convert them into Amazons, because I'm still looking for 'Zons to my liking.

Says on the facebook post - Sukubus Studio

Sukubus studios ran a indigogo for them about 3 months ago.

They will have them for sell when its all finished and delivered. They are Dark elves.

now that I've seen them on the Sukkubus website, there is no way I like to use them as Amazons.
The (male) Warlocks are useless, I don't like the cloaked Assassins or the Witch Queens, so that leaves me two Throwers short.

And their Valkyries look to much like female Norse for my taste...
Damn! Will I ever find Amazons I like?

Not a fan of the Willy miniatures Amazons? Or the RN Estudio New 'Zons?

A big "No!" to both.
One team looks like a bunch of half naked hookers, the others do carry small animals around while wearing rather scifi looking armour.... No thanks.
And both teams do sport some strange poses, at least in my eyes.

I know I'm picky but why can't I just have some decent looking female football players?

I would have loved the Witches team from Sukkubus but the Assassins are useless.
I could use the Catchers for throwers, as they both hold balls in their hands.
But that would leave me with the Witch Queens as only options for Catchers. And they both have ridiculous poses and I hate cloaks on Blood Bowl miniatures.

You have also starplayers miniatures Zons (before were from Necrom I think).

Yeah, I know those and nope, not to my taste either. Not even those Tom has on Kickstarter right now.
Same goes for the black scorpion 'Zons.

Like I said, nothing out there for me...

And the worst part is, I don't know about other female minis you could covert...

What about the Rolljordan nun team?

The Rolljordan nun team is limited and can only be bought in team deals, not single miniatures.
And no, I don't like the design, I'm not a fan of 'funny' teams.

The Gaspez-Zons are not only half naked again but also pretty similar, so distinguishing positionals is pretty hard, at least for me.
Nope, not a fan of those either.

I do own GW Amazons but they are also pretty hard to tell apart, half naked and, alongside with the Pro Elves, the ugliest team GW had on the market.

Well the Valkyries ARE supposes to be the Norse team...so you got that one right. I however am using them as a amazon team.

If it makes you feel better..sukubus studios did say that they were at one point going to make an amazon team...you'll just have to wait a while.

What are you actually looking for in an Amazon team specifically?

Genuinely interested as I personally think most of the female blood bowl players are over sexualised and characatures of stereotypical busty supermodels.

I really wish I had an answer to that.
I just see a team and it click with me or it doesn't.
I haven't seen any human team out there yet that clicked with me, either. Neither those currently on Kickstarter nor those that went with the Iron Golems ProBox.
I know that, in order to make clear the minis are female, you have to 'point out' their gender. But there is a difference of looking sexy to looking slutty.
Amazons in just a bikini and no armour at all just don't make sense to me.

One thing a team really needs is easily distinguishable positionals and a 'bloodbowly' look. And I really don't like to 'adventurous' poses either. Players squating, kneeling or flying, like being in mid-jump and the mini being supported by a piece of fabric are not for me.

Teams I really liked were the Slann from J_Bone or the Iron Golems Dwarves, so, yes, Pedro Ramos' style is what I like.
I converted myself some Skaven from a box of Storm Vermin and I do like them better than most Skaven teams out there.

I'm in the same position. Seriously want a zone team, can't abide the current options.
