Deathroller

Post by slackman »

quick question. the text of the deathroller says if it falls over or takes an injury for any reason its out of the match. do i still have to break armor to hurt it, or does simply rolling the pow on the block dice suffice? im pretty sure the armor roll isnt necessary, but then whats the point of giving it av10?

Earning CAS SPP's if you break armor and hurt it/him!

That's how we play anyhow!

I remember reading something about injuries being applied to the driver...
But I don't know where - and didn't find any reference in LRB....
So... I guess (AV) it's something from the time SWs were bought to be part of the roster.... like when they say « The Death-Roller may not be used again that match, though it will be repaired in time for the next game.»...

I've always thought that the armour roll was to the driver and so was the cas. when we played 3rd ed w/ starplayers, so take that for what it's worth now, but it still makes sense to me in todays game. S.

Armor rolls are for the whole thing. Yes u roll armor, if it doesnt get thru,or u get anything less than badly hurt, the deathroller still has to miss the rest of the game. If it is killed then it has been destroyed, im not sure about serious injuries.
